If one visits the nice area of Udine and the surrounding villages he will get the impression that the inhabitants are industrious and produce in their factories important and well designed things like shoes, clothes etc. On the other hand there are lovely and impressive historic buildings in the city, which reflects the great culture of this area.
At the 2nd World Symposium of Martial Arts in a big sports hall outside of Udine a large number of different types of Martial Arts were presented like Jundokan Karate-Do, Okinawa Goju Ryu Karate, Wado Ryu, Shotokan, Shito Ryu, Aiki Do, Modern Combat Systems, Self Defense, Ju Jutsu, Bu Jutsu, Ju-Jitsu, Krav Maga, Wing Tsun Kung Fu, Knife and Stick Combat, Brasilian Jiu Jitsu, Kick Boxing etc.
All these different groups had the opportunity to present themselves and their abilities to the huge number of visitors in the hall. So did Jundokan Karate-Do Okinawa.
