From 23rd to 25th of September 2011 a weekend seminar was held again in Hollabrunn, Lower Austria.
About 30 participants from Karate Clubs from Melk, Brunn am Gebirge and mainly from Hollabrunn and Vienna attended the seminar. The participants from Vienna belonged to the Karate Clubs Karate-Do Wien, HSV-Wien and Budo SV Vienna.
The special goals of this seminar were the training of the Jundokan Kata and its Bunkai for preparing the candidates for Dan-grading in Naha, Okinawa in October this year and in December in Vienna. 12 participants of Jundokan Karatedo Austria will travel to Okinawa from October 12th to November 3rd.
Especially remarkable was the participation of Mr. Alfred Mikulka , the head of the greatest Karate-Dojo in Austria with about 500 students and his chief trainer Rainer Ullram.
Another highlight was the self defence lesson with Mr. Helmut Lohner, the chief Kumite trainer of the Karate Federation of Lower Austria. He explained in a very impressive way the different running threads and some methods to be successful in defending.
A number of participants lived at the comfortable “Sporthotel” in Hollabrunn. The served food was excellent as in the past.
