On May 15th the Vienna Karate Federation organized a Dan-Examination for the Karateka of the 24 Karate clubs of Vienna.
A number of candidates attended; most of them passed the examination for Shodan, Nidan, Sandan and Yondan successfully. All of them have been well prepared and gave impressive performances of their abilities. The examination followed the rules of the Austrian Karate Federation, as well the traditional way as the sportive way for competitors in championships. The president of the Vienna Karate Federation, Alfred Anderl, took the opportunity to deliver the certificates to those candidates who have passed the Dan examination in December 2010. From our paramilitary sports club HSV-Wien Christian Pirker attended the examination and passed successfully the grading for Nidan.
